God our Father, we thank You for guiding us into the new year. We look forward to all that You have in store for us in 2015. We pray not only for ourselves but for everyone around us – those we know and those we do not know. Father, may Your mercy and providence surround and comfort all Your people. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You those among us who are hoping and praying for career breakthroughs – that new job, the much-deserved promotion, the desired transfer and the pay rise. We pray for the ones who are facing crises in their jobs and struggles because of those in their families. Lord, let Your healing and answers come and soon. Let each cross at the workplace bring people closer to You. Amen.
