“Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord.” –Isaiah 1:18 In our secular humanistic culture, many people, even Christians, have unformed and deformed consciences. They have not been “trained by practice to distinguish good from evil” (Heb 5:14). “One sees in them men without conscience, without loyalty, without affection, without pity” (Rm 1:31). These people commit many serious sins, but do not feel guilty because they are so spiritually blinded and immature. Lord Jesus, today we bring to You, the Fountain of all Holiness – a desire for our purification. Cleanse us of all iniquity; keep our souls holy, our minds clean and our bodies chaste. When evil tries to taunt and entice us with sin, keep us protected. Let today be the beginning of our sanctification. Create in us clean hearts and seal our senses with Your Precious Blood. May we be ready to receive You, the babe in the manger, all over again, with all the true honour You deserve. Amen.

அன்பான இறைமக்கள் யாவருக்கும் நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நாமத்தில் என் அன்பான நல்வாழ்த்துக்கள். அன்பானவர்களே! இந்த பிப்ரவரி மாதம் முழுதும் கடவுள் நம்மோடு கூடவே இருந்து எல்லாத் தீங்கிற்கும் விலக்கி பாதுகாத்து நம்முடைய தேவைகளை சந்தித்து ஆசீர்வதித்து வழிநடத்தி அவரின் செட்டைகளின் மறைவில் வைத்து காத்து வந்திருக்கிறார். இதுபோல் இந்த மார்ச் மாதம் முழுதும் கடவுள் நம்மோடு இருந்து அவரின் கிருபையால் தாங்கி காத்து வழிநடத்த வேண்டுமாய், நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் அவருடைய பெயரால் வெற்றி பெற்று அவருக்கே வெற்றிக்கொடி நாட்டுவோமாக! ஆண்டவருக்கு புகழ்ப்பா அமைத்து பாடுவோம்.ஏனெனில் அவர் நமக்கு மாட்சியுறும் செயல்களைப் புரிந்துள்ளார். அனைத்துலகமும் இதை அறிந்து ஆர்ப்பரித்து அக்களிப்போம். தூயவர் நம்மிடையே சிறந்து விளங்குகிறார். ஏசாயா 12:5,6. இந்த மாதத்தில் அவர் பரிவு என்னும் கட்டுகளால் நம்மை பிணைத்து,அன்புக் கயிறுகளால் கட்டி, நம் கழுத்தின்மேல் இருந்த நுகத்தை அகற்றி நமக்கு எல்லாவற்றையும் தந்து காத்திருக்கிறார். ஓசேயா 11:4. நாம் எத்தனையோ காரியத்தில் அவரை துக்கப்படுத்தியிருந்தாலும் அன்பே உருவான அவர் நம் தப்பிதங்களை பொருட்படுத்தாமல் அவரின் இரத்தத்தால்...

“Be compassionate, as your Father is compassionate.” –Luke 6:36 Today’s readings speak of an ever-increasing awareness of sin. Sin eventually results in being “brought very low” (Ps 79:8). Nations and people that rebel against God (see Dn 9:9) will eventually reap the harvest of sin, that is, disaster and death (see Rm 6:23). The measure that rebels measure with will eventually be measured right back to them, as Jesus says (Lk 6:38). Lord Jesus, our Saviour, we need You now as we are struggling in the crucible of suffering. Lord, touch and bless each of us who are being tested through loss, illness, family problems, bondages, calamities, crisis situations, financial crunch, stress or fear. We wash all these away by the power of Your precious blood. May Your love bring us healing and peace, plus assurance, right now. Amen.
