Lord Jesus, today we pray for protection – from evil, strife, bad habits and any vile attacks of Satan. Lord, we want to live glorifying Your name. Sometimes, we build up shackles which destroy us little by little, instead of keeping us safe. Protect us from today in a very special way, Lord Jesus. Send Your angels to stand guard over us and our own. More than anything, keep us away from anything that cocoons us away from loving You and loving our brethren, which is Your way. Amen.

அன்பும், பண்பும், பாசமும் நிறைந்த சகோதர, சகோதரிகளுக்கு, நமது ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் இனிய நாமத்தில் என் அன்பின் நல்வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவிப்பதில் மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சி அடைகிறேன். இந்த நாளிலும் நம்முடைய ஆண்டவராகிய தேவன் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரின் இருதயத்திலும் வாசம் செய்துக்கொண்டுதான் இருக்கிறார். இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள். அவர்கள் தேவனை தரிசிப்பார்கள் என்று வேதம் சொல்கிறது. நாம் இருதயத்தில் சுத்தம் உள்ளவர்களாய் வாழ்ந்தோமானால் ஆண்டவர் நம் இதயத்தில் வந்து தங்குவார். நாம் அவருடைய வழிகளில் எல்லாம் நடக்கிறதற்கு அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும், கட்டளைகளையும், நியாங்களையும் கைக்கொண்டு நம்முடைய இதயத்தை அவரிடத்தில் சமர்ப்பிப்போம். ஆண்டவரே கடவுள்: வேறு எவரும் இல்லை என்று உலகில் வாழும் எல்லா மக்களும் அறிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டுமாய் மனிதனின் இதயத்தில் வாழ விரும்புகிறார். ஆனால் நாம் அவரை கண்டு கொள்ளாமல் நமது விருப்பப்படி நடந்தால் அவரும் நம்மை கண்டு கொள்ளாமல் இருப்பார். சிலவேளைகளில் கண்டித்து உணர்த்துவார். அப்பொழுதும் நம் இதயத்தை கடினப்படுத்துவோமானால் அவர் நம்மை விட்டு விலகிடுவார். நமக்கு கிடைத்த பொக்கிஷத்தை நழுவ விடாமல் காத்துக்கொள்வோம். ஏனெனில் நமது இதயத்தில் எண்ணங்களும்,...

Lord Jesus, we bring to Your Cross those who are judged the harshest by each one of us – the Pharisees of today. The crying single, the teen with the tattoo, the sulky colleague, the temperamental boss, the whining elder, the insensitive partner, the cutting friend, the alcoholic neighbour, the gossipy stranger and many more faces we meet daily…may we see them all – as You see them, holy and perfect creations in an imperfect world. Let us not judge, lest we be judged by You. Forgive and heal us, each time before we even think of lifting our fingers...
