மனந்திரும்பிச் சிறு பிள்ளைகளைப்போல் மாறுவோம்

இந்த உலகில் இயேசு வாழ்ந்த காலத்தில் அவருடைய சீடர்கள் இயேசுவை அணுகி விண்ணரசில் யார் பெரியவர் என்று கேட்டார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர் ஒரு சிறு பிள்ளையை அழைத்து அவர்கள் நடுவில் நிறுத்தி நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பிச் சிறு பிள்ளைகளைப்போல் ஆகாவிட்டால் விண்ணரசில் புகமாட்டீர்கள் என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்கு சொல்கிறேன். இந்த சிறு பிள்ளையைப்போல் தம்மைத் தாழ்த்திக் கொள்பவரே விண்ணரசில் மிகப்பெரியவர். இத்தகைய சிறுபிள்ளை ஒன்றை என் பெயரால் ஏற்றுக்கொள்பவர் எவரும் என்னையே ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறார் என்று மத்தேயு 18 – 1 to 5 வரை வாசிக்கிறோம். நாமும் இந்நாளில் ஆண்டவர் விரும்பும் வண்ணம்நாமும் ஒரு சிறு குழந்தையைப் போல் மாறுவோம். அப்பொழுது நம் ஆண்டவர் நம்மை உயர்ந்த கன்மலையின் மேல் நிறுத்துவார். இஸ்ரயேல் குழந்தையாய் இருந்தபோது அவன்மேல் அன்பு கூர்ந்தேன் எகிப்திலிருந்து என் மகனை அழைத்து வந்தேன். ஆனால் எவ்வளவு நான் வருந்தி அழைத்தேனோ அவ்வளவாய் என்னை விட்டு தூரமாய் போனார்கள் பாகால்களுக்கு பலியிட்டார்கள். சிலைகளுக்கு தூபம் காட்டினார்கள். அவர்களை நடை பயிற்றுவித்ததும் நானே அவர்களை கையில்...
