Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to the foot of the cross all the enemies of Mother Mary and pray for every human being who has ever insulted Your Mother’s name. Lord, we pray that You convict the world of this sin. May we learn to honour and cherish the memory of our Blessed Mother. May we also learn to love, cherish and honour the women in our lives. Amen. Isaiah 61:7 (WEB) Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them. Promise #250: I will give you a double portion of your inheritance in exchange for your shame. In the Hebrew tradition, the eldest son of the family would receive a double portion of the family’s inheritance. So if I understand this correctly, if there were 5 heirs, then the inheritance would be divided 6 ways and the eldest son would get 2/6 of the inheritance...
