We praise You and glorify You for their love and support – the friend in school, the one who shared secrets in college, the colleague who always lend an ear and the stranger who became the most integral part of our lives. கடவுள் படைத்த படைப்புகளில் எல்லாம் உயர்ந்த படைப்பு மனிதரே என்று கூறி நாம் பெருமைப்படுகிறோம். ஆயினும் விவிலியம் தரும் செய்திப்படி, கடவுள் ”வானதூதர்களை”யும் படைத்தார். இவர்கள் கடவுளைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுவர்; கடவுளின் தூதர்களாகச் செயல்படுவர். குறிப்பாக, மிக்கேல், கபிரியேல், இரபேல் ஆகிய தூதர்களைத் திருச்சபை இன்று நினைவுகூர்கிறது. மிக்கேல் தீய சக்திகளை எதிர்த்துப் போராடி மக்களைக் காப்பவராகச் சித்தரிக்கப்படுகிறார் (காண்க: திவெ 12:7-12). கபிரியேல் மரியாவை அணுகி, கடவுள் மனிதராக உலகில் பிறப்பார் என்னும் செய்தியை அறிவிக்கிறார் (காண்க: லூக் 1:26-38); இரபேல் (தோபி 12:14-15) நலமளிப்பவராக வருகிறார். கடவுளின் படைப்பு மனிதரின் கண்களுக்குத் தெரிகின்றவை மட்டுமல்ல, நம் புலன்களுக்கு எட்டாதவையும் அவருடைய படைப்பாக உள்ளன என நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். வானதூதர்களும் கடவுளைச் சார்ந்தே உள்ளனர் என்பதையும் திருச்சபை கற்பிக்கிறது. கடவுளின் விருப்பத்தைச் செயல்படுத்துவதே வானதூதர்களின் பணி. அதுபோலவே, மனிதரும் செயல்பட அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். வானதூதர்கள் என்னும் உருவகம் வழியாக இன்னொரு...
