Lord Jesus, on this day we bring to You our brothers and sisters who are being rammed by this cruellest attack against their souls. We pray that Your heavenly and earthly angels will support them when they are at their lowest. May they always find a friendly hand to hold, pray and bring them back. Break the strongholds of evil. Deliver them right now and forever – by the mighty power of Your Precious Blood, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

கடவுளின் ஆட்சியை அறிவித்த இயேசு நாம் அந்த ஆட்சியில் நுழையவிடாமல் தடுக்கின்ற சக்திகளைப் பற்றியும் நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறார். கடவுளின் சக்தியை எதிர்க்கின்ற சக்திகள் தோல்வியுறுவது உறுதி. ஆனால், நன்மைக்கும் தீமைக்கும் இடையே ஒரு நெடிய போராட்டம் நிகழ்கிறது என்பதை நாம் மறுக்கவியலாது. ஆகவேதான், இயேசுவின் பணியைத் தொடர்ந்து செய்ய நாம் முன்வராவிட்டால் படிப்படியாக நாம் அவருடைய எதிரிகளாக மாறிவிடுகின்ற ஆபத்து உண்டு. இதையே இயேசு சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறார். நம்மைவிட்டு வெளியேறிய தீய ஆவி மீண்டும் நம்மைத் தேடி வந்துவிட்டால் அதை எதிர்த்துப் போராட நமக்கு இன்னும் அதிக சக்தி தேவைப்டக்கூடும். எனவே, இயேசுவோடு நாம் எப்போதும் இணைந்திருந்து செயல்படவும் தீய ஆவிக்கு நம் உள்ளத்தில் இடம் கொடாமலிருக்கவும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். நற்செய்தி நூலில் ”நமக்கு எதிராக இராதவர் நம் சார்பாக இருக்கிறார்” என்ற சொற்றொடரும் இயேசு வழங்கிய போதனையாக வருகிறது (லூக் 9:50). இதிலிருந்து நாம் அறிவது என்னவென்றால், வெளிப்படையாக இயேசுவின் சீடராகத் தம்மை...
