Lord Jesus, we pray today for little children who are struggling to understand You and Your working in our tough, unfair world. We pray that our children are touched by Your Holy Spirit, so that they understand how to obey and honour You, even when life gives them tough knocks. Be with them every moment and send Your angels to aid them when they are in emotional, physical or spiritual danger. May they become real children of Your light. We give You complete control of our childrens’ lives right now, Lord Jesus. Claim them as Your own, forever and ever....

இயேசு இறையாட்சி பற்றிப் போதித்த வேளையில் அவர் வழியாகக் கடவுள் பேசுகின்றார் என்ற உண்மையைச் சிலர் ஏற்றனர், வேறு சிலர் ஏற்கவில்லை. இயற்கையில் தோன்றுகின்ற அடையாளங்கள் வழியாகப் பல உண்மைகளை அறியக் கற்றுக்கொண்ட மனிதர் கடவுளிடமிருந்து வருகின்ற அடையாளங்களை ஏன் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை என்று இயேசு கேட்டார். வானம் சிவந்தால் கால நிலை நன்றாக உள்ளது எனவும், காற்று மந்தாரமாக இருந்தால் இன்று காற்றுடன் கூடிய மழை இருக்கும் எனவும் (காண்க: மத்தேயு 16:2-3) அறிந்துகொள்ள மனிதருக்கு இயலும் என்றால் கடவுளாட்சி பற்றிய அடையாளங்களின் பொருளை அவர்கள் அறியத் தவறியது ஏன்? தம்மை மனிதருக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகின்ற கடவுள் பல அடையாளங்கள் வழியாகத் தம் உடனிருப்பையும் வல்லமையையும் நமக்கு அறிவிக்கின்றார். கடவுளின் வெளிப்பாடு இன்றைய உலகிலும் தொடர்கிறது. இந்த உண்மையை 2ஆம் வத்திக்கான் சங்கம் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது. இயேசுவின் நற்செய்தியை ஒவ்வொரு தலைமுறையினரும் நன்முறையில் புரிந்து செயல்பட வேண்டும் என்றால் ”காலத்தின் குறிகளை” நாம் கண்டுகொண்டு...
