சில உண்மைகளை அனுபவத்தின் மூலம் மட்டுமே கற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியும். அவற்றுள் ஒன்றுதான் கொடுப்பதன் மேன்மை. கொடுங்கள், உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும் என்ற ஆண்டவரின் அருள்வாக்கின் அருமையை அனுபவித்துப் பார்த்தால்தான் தெரியும். இன்றைய முதல் வாசகத்திலும், நற்செய்தி வாசகத்திலும் கொடுத்தலின் மேன்மை போற்றப்படுகிறது. முதல் வாசகத்தில் இறைவாக்கினர் எலியாவுக்கு அப்பம் கொடுத்துப் பசி நீக்கிய கைம்பெண்ணுக்கு ஆண்டவர் அற்புதமான முறையில் தொடர்ந்து உணவு கிடைக்கச் செய்த நிகழ்வை வாசிக்கிறோம். நற்செய்தி வாசகத்திலோ ஆண்டவர் இயேசு மறைநுhல் அறிஞர்களைச் சாடும்போது அவர்கள் பிறருக்குக் கொடுப்பதற்குப் பதிலாக, கைம்பெண்களின் வீடுகளைப் பிடுங்கிக்கொள்வதைக் கண்டனம் செய்கிறார். அத்துடன், ஏழைக் கைம்பெண் போட்ட காணிக்கையையும் பெரிதும் பாராட்டுகிறார். இரு வாசகங்களிலும் வருகின்ற கைம்பெண்கள் தாங்கள் பெறுகின்ற நிலையில் இருந்தபொழுதும்கூட கொடுக்கின்ற மனம் உள்ளவர்களாக இருந்தனர். எனவே, பாராட்டையும், இறை ஆசியையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். பொதுவாகவே, குறைவாக உள்ளவர்களுக்குத்தான் நிறைவான மனம் இருக்கிறது என்று நாம் சொல்கிறோம். இந்தக் கைம்பெண்கள் அதை எண்பித்துக்காட்டுகின்றனர்....

Lord Jesus, today we give to You our desire and longing to know You, love You and have fellowship with You. Each moment of each day, let us have intimacy with Your Holy Spirit. Anything that blocks the work of Your Spirit, we bind it and break it in Your Holy Name. We plead to God the Father for a personal relationship with God, not merely religion. Let us become the kind of Christians who really know the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us become filled with Your love and light; and let us pass it on to our brethren all...

“நேர்மையற்ற செல்வத்தைக்கொண்டு உங்களுக்கு நண்பர்களைத் தேடிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்” இயேசுவின் இந்த அறிவுரை அதிர்ச்சியை தருகிறதா? உண்மை. ஆனாலும் அவர் சொல்ல வந்த கருத்தை கவனத்தில் கொள்ள வேண்டும். நேர்மையற்ற செல்வம் என இயேசு குறிப்பிடுவது இவ்வுலக செல்வங்களையே. இயேசுவின் பார்வையில்,விண்ணகச் செல்வத்தோடு ஒப்பிடும்போது இவை நேர்மையற்ற செல்வம். இருப்பினும் மனித கண்ணோட்டத்தில், நேர்மையான வழிகளில் சம்பாதித்தவை அனைத்தும் நேர்மையான செல்வம்தான். இந்த செல்வத்தைக்கொண்டு நண்பர்களைத் தேடிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். விண்ணக செல்வத்தைத் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். நேர்மையான செல்வம் என்பது விண்ணகச் செல்வம் ஒனறே. “கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைப் பற்றிய அறிவே நான் பெறும் ஒப்பற்றச் செல்வம்”; (பிலிப்பியர் 3 :8). “எகிப்தின் செல்வங்களைவிட, “மெசியாவின்” பொருட்டு இகழ்ச்சியுறுவதே மேலான செல்வம்”(எபிரேயர் 11 :26) இவ்வுலகில் கடவுள் நமக்குத் தந்த செல்வத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி எவ்வாறு நண்பர்களை தேடிக்கொள்வது விண்ணக செல்வத்தைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வது என்பதற்கான வழிகளை ஆராய்வோம். அதைச் செயல்படுத்துவோம். அப்பொழுது நேர்மையற்ற செல்வத்தைக் கையாளுவதில் நாம் நம்பத்தகுந்தவராய்...
