“Passing into holy souls from age to age, [Wisdom] produces friends of God and prophets. Lord Jesus, You are all about love, mercy and justice. When the world brands a person as a black sheep, please hold his or her hand. The moment when one of us is labelled something evil or judged wrongly by our own, may Your angels rush to our aid. To lift us up and to give us grace and courage. May we able to bear the insults better, knowing that the world did the same to You years ago. May we not judge, lest we be judged ourselves. Heal us of the pain of rejection and heal the ones who...

நீ அந்த ஒரு ஆளா? அல்லது ஒன்பது ஆட்களில் ஓருவனா?, ஒருத்தியா? நம் இறைவன் ஆள் பார்த்து தம் ஆசீரை வழங்குபவர் அல்ல. தன் பேரருட் பெருந்தன்மையால் எல்லோருக்கும் வாரி வழங்குகிறார். “அவர் நல்லோர் மேலும் தீயோர் மேலும் தம் கதிரவனை உதித்தெழச் செய்கிறார். நேர்மையுள்ளோர் மேலும் நேர்மையற்றோர் மேலும் மழை பெய்யச் செய்கிறார்.” (மத் 5 :45) அவர் உனக்குச் செய்துள்ள நன்மைகளைச் சற்று அமர்ந்து சிந்தித்துப் பார். தினமும் உனக்கு, உன் குடும்பத்திற்கு அவர் தரும் ஆசீரையும் அருட்கொடைகளையும் நினைத்துப் பார். தொழுநோயைக் குணமாக்கினால்தான் கடவுள் உன்னில் செயல்படுவதாக நினைக்காதே. ஜலதோஷம், தும்மல், இருமல் இல்லாமல் உன்னைக் காப்பதும் அந்த தெய்வமே என்பதை உணர்ந்து கொள். இப்படி சிறியது முதல் பெரியது வரை பல நன்மைகளைப் பெற்றும் இறைவனைப்பற்றிய நினைவே இல்லாமல் வாழும்போது நீயும் அந்த ஒன்பதுபேரில் ஒருவன். நாளும் நம்மைக் காத்துவரும் நல்ல தேவனை, தினமும் கொஞ்சம்...

“For those in power a rigorous scrutiny impends.”–Wisdom 6:8 Leaders in God’s kingdom have been entrusted with much, thus much will be required of them (see Lk 12:48). Those in power are mightily put to the test and scrutinized rigorously (Wis 6:6, 8; see also Jas 3:1).
