இரண்டாம் வருகை !

கிறித்தவத்தின் அடிப்படை நம்பிக்கைகளில் ஒன்றுதான் இரண்டாம் வருகை. முதல் வருகையின்போது, மானிட உருவெடுத்து, பாடுபட்டு, மரித்து, உயிர்த்த இறைமகன் இயேசு இரண்டாம் முறையாக மீண்டும் வருவார். அந்த வருகையின்போது அவர் நடுவராக உலகைத் தீர்ப்பிடுவார் என்பதுவே இரண்டாம் வருகையின் பொருள். ;இதை நாம் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் திருப்பலியிலும், விசுவாசப் பிரமாணத்திலும், இன்னும் வேறு பல வேளைகளிலும் அறிக்கையிடுகிறோம். இந்த விசுவாச அறிக்கையை எப்படி வாழ்வில் பயன்படுத்துவது? நல்ல கேள்வி. நடுவராக இயேசு மீண்டும் வரவிருக்கிற அந்த இரண்டாம் வருகை உலக முடிவில்தான் இருக்கும். உலக முடிவு எப்போது என்று மனுமகனுக்கே தெரியாது என்று இயேசுவும் கூறிவிட்டார். எனவே, நம்மைப் பொறுத்தவரை, உலக முடிவு என்பது நம் ஒவ்வொருவரின் முடிவுதான். அதாவது, நமது இறப்புதான். நாம் இறக்கின்றபோது நடுவராம் இயேசு நம்மைச் சந்தித்து நம்மைத் தீர்ப்புpடுவார். அந்தத் தீர்ப்பின் வேளைக்காக நாம் எப்போதும் ஆயத்தமாக இருக்கவேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு நாளும், ஒவ்வொரு நிமிடமும் நாம்...

Lord Jesus, today we surrender to You our children. They are our most precious gifts from You and we need the grace to raise them well, ensuring they have the best in life – beginning with the right knowledge of You. We pray that Your angels will watch over these precious treasures of our family. May their spirits, souls and bodies be protected from any harm or evil. Be with them Lord Jesus, even when we cannot. Amen.
