Lord Jesus, today we bring to Your presence – our pregnant wives, sisters, mothers and friends – and their spouses. We pray that each of these men and women are mightily anointed to become Godly Christian parents who know that the baby is growing in the mothers’ womb and the fathers’ hearts. We pray that their babies are blessed. May the men who are to provide care and love, do so, with Your special touch. May Your angels, Saint Anne and Mother Mary give the mothers-to-be relief from their discomforts. Bless the women with safe and happy confinement and smooth...

பார்வையற்ற பர்த்திமேயுக்கு இயேசு பார்வை அளித்த நிகழ்ச்சியை மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை தியானிக்கிறோம். எனவே, இன்று வாசகத்தின் கடைசி வாக்கியத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்வோம். உமது நம்பி;க்கை உம்மை நலமாக்கிற்று என்று இயேசு கூறியதும், அவர் உடனே பார்வை பெற்று, கடவுளைப் போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்துகொண்டே இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றினார் என்று வாசிக்கிறோம். பார்வை பெற்ற அம்மனிதர் நமக்குக் கற்றுத்தரும் பாடம் இதுதான்: பார்வை பெறுவது கடவுளைப் புகழ்வதற்காகவும், இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்காகவும்தான் என்பது அவரது அனுபவம். பார்வை பெற்றதும் தனது குடும்பத்தினரைத் தேடிச் செல்லவில்லை, புதிய வாழ்வைத் தொடங்குவதற்கான முயற்சிகள் எதிலும் ஈடுபடவில்லை. மாறாக, கடவுளைப் புகழ்ந்தார், இயேசுவைப் பின் தொடர்ந்தார். இதைக் கண்ட மக்கள் யாவரும் கடவுளைப் புகழ்ந்தனர். எனவே, ஒரு நற்செய்தியாளராகவும் மாறிவிட்டார். நாமும் புதிய பார்வை பெறவேண்டும். நமது வாழ்வின் நோக்கம் கடவுளைப் புகழ்வதும், இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றி வாழ்வதும்தான் என்பதை உணர்வதே அந்தப் புதிய பார்வை. வேறு எதற்காக இந்த வாழ்வு? வேறு எது...

Hearing a crowd go by the man asked, ‘What is that?’ The answer came that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.” –Luke 18:35-37 Imagine if you were color-blind and nearsighted with impaired peripheral vision. Could you see? Yes. Would you need healing of your vision? Absolutely. Likewise, we can see spiritually but “we see indistinctly, as in a mirror” (1 Cor 13:12). We should not let the fact that we have some vision keep us from crying out to Jesus for vision good enough to live His abundant life....
