ஒவ்வொரு கிறிஸ்தவரிடமும் கேட்க வேண்டிய கேள்வி, நீ யார்? என்ன பதில் சொல்லப்போகிறோம்? திருமுழுக்கு யோவானிடம் இந்த கேள்வி கேட்கப்பட்டது. ‘நான் பாலை வனக் குரல்’ என்று ஏசாயா இறைவாக்கை (40’3) மேற்கோள்காட்டி பதில் சொன்னார். நாம் ஒவ்வொருவரும் இயேசுவின் முன்னோடிகள். அவரது வருகைக்குத் தயார் செய்யும் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள். அவரது வருகையை முன்னறிவிக்கும் ஒலிப்பான்கள். நம்முடைய சொல், செயல், நடவடிக்கை அனைத்தும் இயேசுவை எதிரொலிப்பதாய், பிறதிபலிப்பதாய் இருக்க வேண்டும். நம் வாழ்வு இயேசுவை அடையாளம் காட்டி அறிமுகம் செய்வதாக இருக்க வேண்டும். தன் எதார்த்த நிலையை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார். தன் உண்மை நிலையை மறுக்கவில்லை. தன்னை தாழ்த்துவதற்குத் தயங்கவில்லை. தான் ஒரு ‘பாலை வனக் குரல்’ என்றும், “எனக்குப்பின் வருபவர்; அவருடைய மிதியடிவாரை அவிழ்க்கக்கூட எனக்குத் தகுதியில்லை” தாழ்த்தினார். பிறரைப் பெருமையாகப் பேசுவோம். அனைத்திலும் பிறருக்கு முதலிடம் கொடுப்போம். பிறரை உயர்வாக மதிப்போம். பிறரைப்பற்றிய நற்குணங்களை எடுத்துச் சொல்வோம். இவ்வாறு செயல்படும்போது நாம்...
