Today, we pray for those who are not speaking to each other

Lord Jesus, we surrender to You those of us who are torn and suffering today because of silly misunderstandings; the ones who are silent and angry towards their dearest ones. We pray that Your love penetrates into our very souls and heals the wounds which run deep. May we believers learn to rebuke the devil and stay away from his tactics. May we make peace first, before bringing ourselves to Your altar. May our relationships be blessed more and more. May rifts be healed and let love from You towards our people, surpass everything. Amen.

செபமா? உழைப்பா? இரண்டில் எது சிறந்தது? என்ற கேள்வி ஒவ்வொரு அருட்பணியாளருக்கும் எழக்கூடிய இயல்பான கேள்வி. ஒருபுறம் செபம் தான் சிறந்தது என்று, ஆலய வழிபாடுகளோடு நிறைவு காண்கிறவர்கள். மறுபுறம், மக்கள் பணிதான் இறைவன் பணி என்று, முழுக்க, முழுக்க உழைப்பிற்கும், சமுதாயப்பணிக்கும் முன்னுரிமை கொடுக்கக்கூடியவர்கள். இரண்டுமே அவசியம் என்பது நமக்குத்தெரிந்திருந்தாலும், ஏதாவது ஒன்றினை மையப்படுத்தி நமது வாழ்வை அமைத்துக்கொள்கிறோம். கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வை நாம் சிறந்த முறையில் வாழ்வதற்கு, கடவுளுடனான நமது உறவுதான் சிறந்த உந்துசக்தி என்பதுதான் அந்த பதில். ஒருவர் எவ்வளவுதான் சமுதாயப்பணிகள், மக்கள் பணியில் சிறந்து விளங்கினாலும், அவர் தனது வாழ்க்கையில் கடவுளுக்கோ, செபத்திற்கோ நேரம் கொடுக்கவில்லை என்றால், அவருக்கு நிச்சயமாக நிறைவு என்பதே இருக்காது. இயேசுவின் வாழ்வில் இது உறுதியாக வெளிப்படுகிறது. இயேசு பகலெல்லாம் கால்நடையாக நடந்து, பல இடங்களுக்குச் சென்று, போதித்தாலும், அவருக்கு களைப்பு இருந்தாலும், ஓய்வு தேவை என்றாலும், செபத்தில் தந்தையோடு கொண்டிருந்த உறவை...
