“I say only what the Father has taught Me.” –John 8:28 Jesus only said what the Father taught Him (Jn 8:28). Jesus spent a lot of time being taught by His Father. He arose early to listen to His Father (Mk 1:35), stayed up very late to be with Him (Lk 6:12), and spent forty days in the desert to hear His Father’s plans for His public ministry (Mt 4:1ff). Lord Jesus, today we bring to You, all Your children who are homemakers. Lord, they often do the unpaid, thankless service no one wants to do, and do it lifelong. We thank You for these wonderful women and men who choose their families and their needs before their own success and a successful career. We bless their work-worn hands, Jesus. A special prayer for the mums, dads and relatives and the administrators who have made our own homes and institutions true homes of selfless love. Amen.

இயேசுவுக்கும், யூதச்சங்கத்தினருக்கும் நடைபெறும் இந்த வாக்குவாதம் யெருசலேம் ஆலயத்தின் கருவூலப்பகுதியில் நடைபெறுகிறது. ஆலயக்கருவூலப்பகுதி ஆலயத்தின் பெண்கள் முற்றத்தில் அமைந்திருந்தது. யெருசலேம் ஆலயத்தின் முதல் முற்றம் புறவினத்தார்க்கு உள்ள முற்றம். இரண்டாம் முற்றம் பெண்களுக்கானது. பெண்கள் முற்றத்தைச்சுற்றி அமைந்த சுவற்றில் 13 இடங்களில் காணிக்கை செலுத்துவதற்கு ஏதுவான வகையில் ‘எக்காளம்’ போன்ற ஒரு அமைப்பை வடிவமைத்திருந்தனர். ஒவ்வொரு காணிக்கைப்பெட்டியிலும் போடும் பணமும், குறிப்பிட்ட நோக்கத்திற்காகப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. முதல் இரண்டு காணிக்கைப்பெட்டிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு யூதரும் செலுத்த வேண்டிய ஆலய வரிக்கான பணமாகும். 3 வது மற்றும் 4வது பெட்டிகளில், தூய்மைப்படுத்தும் சடங்கிற்காக காணிக்கை செலுத்தப்படும் இரண்டு மாடப்புறாக்கள் வாங்குகிற பணம் செலுத்தப்பட்டது. 5வது பெட்டியில், பலிசெலுத்துவதற்கு வாங்கப்படும் விறகுகளை வாங்குவதற்குப் பயன்பட்டது. 6வது பெட்டியில் சாம்பிராணி வாங்குவதற்கான காணிக்கை போடப்பட்டது. ஏழாவது பெட்டியில், பலிசெலுத்தப்பயன்படும் தங்கப்பாத்திரங்களை பராமரிப்பதற்காக பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது. ஏனைய 6 காணிக்கைப்பெட்டிகளில், தங்களுடைய விருப்பக்காணிக்கைகளை மக்கள் போடுவது வழக்கமாக இருந்தது. எனவே, இந்த...
