A prayer in Times of Discouragement
“My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word. Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me through Your law.” Psalms 119:28-29
To whom do you turn when you feel completely disheartened? Turn to Word of GOD and His commandments. There you will find renewal. Even the psalmist who was weary and “laid low in the dust” (Ps.119:25) found renewal in wanting to know more of GOD and His ways.
In the secular and self-assured world, we live in, despair is common. Even when you feel most discouraged, seek God’s help to enable you to fully understand this truth: GOD knows about our discouragement and despair and He will handle every situation that comes our way.
