Trust in God

May 12, 2012 in Message of the Day, Stories

A tight rope walker balances high above the heads of spectators at dizzying heights, strung between church steeple and town hall. It was a long, dangerous length. As soon as the artist achieved his goal, the masses applaud enthusiastically, and demanded an encore. “Do you think that I can manage to make it back over the dangerous rope?” he shouted to the spectators. “But of course, of course” they shouted back. So the man balanced once more on the dizzying rope. As he reached the end , the crowds clapped and stamped, and again shouted enthusiastically “Encore Encore!”. And so the tight rope walker took a wheelbarrow and shouted down “Do you think I can manage it with this wheel barrow?”. The crowds looked up spellbound. Crossing a thin, dangerous 200m high and unstable rope with a wheelbarrow? Yet someone from amongst the crowd shouted up: “You can do it! I believe you can, you’ll manage it for sure!”. Upon which the tight rope walker shouted: “You think I can manage this? Then come up here and sit in the wheelbarrow!”

At some point, each of us has to decide. At some point, all of us need to go into the wheelbarrow. If you are serious about Jesus, then you may trust HIM completely and place your life in his hands. He is the one who can lead you safe Psalm 23

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6Surelygoodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell  in the house of the LORD
forever.

Love That Is Immeasurable

March 13, 2012 in Message of the Day

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

God sent his only begotten Son to this world to die in our place for our sins so as to give us eternal life instead of eternal hell because He loves us.  How great is God’s Love!  His love is immeasurable. His love is too deep, too high, too wide and too long for us to measure. Ephesians 3:17-19.

Jeremiah 31:3 says  that Jesus loves us with an everlasting love and draws us towards Him with unfailing love.  Since He loves us, He created us in his own image Genesis 1:27 .  The Bible says that Jesus carried us all the way we went as a father carries his son Deuteronomy 1:31.

Men may lie, promise, change and fail but God’s love endures forever.”God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

 Prayer:

Loving Jesus, thank you for your love — a love so great that you gave your one and only Son so that i could have an eternal life. Thank you for making me  understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep your love really is. Help me to stand firm in your unfailing love. Amen.

May God’s love be with you forever and ever! Amen.

The Rescuer

January 14, 2012 in Jesus-MyGreatMaster, Message of the Day

After an Earthquake in Japan, the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house where they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward and her two hands were supporting an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. They reached the woman’s body hoping that this woman could still be alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away. The team leader knelt down and used his hand through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body.

Suddenly, he screamed, “A child! There is a child!”

As they carefully removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman, they saw a 3 month’s old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice to save her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside. There was a text message on the screen, it said:” Dear baby, if you can live, always remember that I love you.”

The belief of the mother was that some one would surely save her child. The same way even in our problems, loneliness, worries, tribulations, debts etc., there is one person who is able to rescue, protect and save and He is Jesus. My dear friends, God also loves us more than anybody else in this world. So love Him and put your trust in Him. Whenever you feel that you are left alone, the eternal God will be your refuge. Deuteronomy 33:27 the Lord has promised that He will comfort us as a mother comforts her child. Isaiah 66:13. Whenever you have a problem the Lord will be with you and will rescue you Jeremiah 1:8. He will not only rescue you but will also protect you Psalm 91:14.

Christmas With Jesus

December 1, 2011 in Prayers in English

It was December and Winston Colony was busy with people purchasing, preparing sweets and decorating their home. Everywhere there were lights and the entire colony was filled with joy. Sam’s house would always look special every year. Every one would come to his house to look at his decorations. His mother used to prepare sweets and Sam would go and distribute to everyone. But this particular Christmas was not like that because Sam has lost his mother a few months back. He was in great sorrow. There was nobody to console him. Days passed by and then came Christmas.. Sam sat beside the door watching every one celebrating. Just then he saw an old man coming towards him. He came near the door and asked, Sam can I come in?. Yes said Sam with a low voice. Who are you asked Sam? I have come to celebrate Christmas with you answered the old man. Sam felt very sad and said I am not celebrating this time; I lost my mother. The old man smiled and said my dear son I know you are in sorrow and that’s why I came here to turn your sorrow into joy and celebrate my Birthday with you. Sam understood that it is none other than Jesus. Jesus hugged him and celebrated his birthday with them.

My dear friends, you might in the same situation. You may be broken, in sorrow, helpless, lonely, in debts, left alone, homeless. But this Christmas is going to be the best Christmas for you because Jesus is going to come to your house. He is going to turn your sorrows into joy. Jesus says, “You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.” John 16:20

Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. John 16:22
